#12. Family Life (2017)

Storyline: A young man spends a few weeks housekeeping for a relatively distant relative and enjoys taking over the comfort of their lives in Santiago. Soon, he meets a cute neighbor and starts pretending for his personal benefit. Great story by Zambra adapted with the filmmakers team. Lightly cringe-worthy humor. The first third is reminiscent of Chacun Cherche son Chat (1996) by Cédric Klapisch, in the neighbourhood flick feeling and for allowing our intrusion into the midst of a quaint urban living corner. But it certainly is a movie in an of itself. Story wraps up well.—sergiolucero
