Storyline: Given unprecedented access, documentary filmmakers D.A. Pennebaker Chris Hegedus follow part of the 1992 Clinton campaign for president. During the New Hampshire primary, the campaign hits some stumbling blocks, chief among them the Gennifer Flowers scandal, but nevertheless manages to pull out a second-place finish. From there, strategists George Stephanopoulos and James Carville repair to national campaign headquarters in Little Rock to monitor the remaining duration of the campaign.

Storyline: This documentary about the 1993 showdown between the FBI and the Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas, presents an alternate theory about the tragedy. The government has long contended that this fringe Christian group was a danger, and that the siege on its compound, which resulted in the death of 70 people, was necessary. Director William Gazecki, using footage from the siege and the Congressional hearings that followed it, asserts that American forces may have attacked a peaceful religious group.

Storyline: In Ireland, American lawyer Ingrid Jessner (Frances McDormand) and her activist partner, Paul Sullivan (Brad Dourif), struggle to uncover atrocities committed by the British government against the Northern Irish during the "Troubles." But when Sullivan is assassinated in the streets, Jessner teams up with Peter Kerrigan (Brian Cox), a British investigator acting against the will of his own government, and struggles to uncover a conspiracy that may even implicate one of Kerrigan's colleagues.

Storyline: On its fiftieth anniversary, the events surrounding the actual Apollo 11 space mission are presented solely using archival footage and still photographs of or associated with the mission. The mission is historic as the first time humans had stepped on the surface of the Earth's moon.
