Storyline: When Sunshine Valley settlers face disaster because of a food shortage and medicine shortage, Gene Autry and Dan Coleman, father of Gene's friend Jennifer, buy supplies in Trail's End, but additional supplies promised by the operators of the town's only store, Lola Riker and her partner Ross McLain are not forthcoming. With the aid of the law and his friend Smiley, Gene gets a shipment through to Sunshine Valley, battling off a hi-jacking attempt but too late to prevent a little girl, Judy, from dying because of a lack of medicine. Storyline: Cavalry scouts Gene Autry (Gene Autry) and Pat Buttram (Pat Buttram) are ordered by the President (of the whole U.S. of A.) to break up an Arizona frontier ring which uses Indian raids to cover up its bandit activities. Carolina Cotton (Carolina Cotton) works with Gene and Pat, seeking revenge against the gang's leader, Dave Kilgrain (Harry Lauter) , who murdered her father. Storyline: Gene Autry's horse "Champion" (Champion) is stolen by escaped convicts Jake Fargon (Walter Sande), Pete Reagon (Jock Mahoney) and Charlie Lewis (Francis McDonald). Twenty years earlier Fargo and Lewis had been captured by City Marshal Steve Autry (Gene Autry)and sent to prison after the theft of $30,000 from "Big Tim" Hanlon (Thurston Hall), a bonanza king. Gene (Gene Autry)traces the convicts to the ghost town in which the loot had been hidden way, where he also finds Hanlon and school teacher Ruth Lambert (Nan Leslie). Storyline: With the stage being held up regularly, the Mesquiteers decide an airplane would be better so they get the ranchers to sell their cattle and invest in the new airline. But when a gold shipment goes out, the stage line owner has his men hijack the plane. Storyline: Vivian as the Hawk is the secret leader of an outlaw gang. She wants the Chambers ranch and after Chambers is killed she sends her men to kill his daughter who is arriving on the stage. Storyline: Cattleman Gene Autry (Gene Autry) is elected mayor of Quartz City, a roaring California gold camp in 1859, and he and his pal, Marshal Breezie Larrabee (Pat Buttram), set out to tame and clean up the town. They start by ousting crooked Tod Rawlings (Harry Lauter) and his gambling hall hostess Bee Laverne (Christine Larson). Gene beats back an attempt by Rawlings to kidnap an incoming caravan of women whose presence in the town will hasten the progress of law and order. One of the arrives, Laurie (Gail Davis), is attracted to Steve Kincaid (Russell Hayden), a con-man working for Rawlings, but she turns against him when she learns of the association.
