#17. Monkey Business (1952)

Storyline: Barnaby Fulton is a research chemist working on a fountain of youth pill for a chemical company. While trying a sample dose on himself, he accidentally gets a dose of a mixture added to the water cooler and believes his potion is what is working. The mixture temporarily causes him to feel and act like a teenager, including correcting his vision. When his wife gets a dose that is even larger, she regresses even further into her childhood. When an old boyfriend meets her in this state, he believes that her never wanting to see him again means a divorce and a chance for him.

#19. Privilege (1967)

Storyline: Steven Shorter is the ultimate British music star. His music is listened to by everyone from pre-teens to grandparents. He has no trace of public bad habits or drug involvement. Everyone in Britain loves him. His handlers begin to use his popularity for projects like increasing the consumption of apples after a bumper crop as an aid to farmers. The handlers decide that Steven should support God and Country next. This leads to, among other things, a rock version of "Onward Christian Soldiers," and the inclusion of a Nazi salute to make it clear (to the viewer) how far the British population will be taken for love of God and Country under Steven's guidance. #20. The Red Cockatoo (2006)

Storyline: In April 1961, in Dresden, the teenager Siggi meets the aspirant poetess Luise in a park and falls in love with her. He befriends her husband, the womanizer worker Wolle, to be close to Luise. Siggi smuggles porcelain objects that belonged to his parents to West Berlin to sell and make money to go to a night-club with Wolle and his friends. Meanwhile, the totalitarian system increases the repression of the youngsters and Wolle is arrested by the dictatorial regime. Siggi publishes Luise's poems and she is arrested. Siggi assumes the blame to release Luise but when he is chased by the Stasi, he calls Luise to go with him to the West Germany. Luise promises to meet him but she would bring Wolle with her. Storyline: Constructing this film through random scenes, director Harmony Korine abruptly jettisoned any sort of narrative plot, so here we go: Solomon and Tummler are two bored teenage boys who live in Xenia, Ohio.
