Storyline: Charles Tatum, a down-on-his-luck reporter, takes a job with a small New Mexico newspaper. The job is pretty boring until he finds a man trapped in an old Indian dwelling. He jumps at the chance to make a name for himself by taking over and prolonging the rescue effort, and feeding stories to major newspapers. He creates a national media sensation and milks it for all it is worth - until things go terribly wrong.

#4. The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962)

Storyline: When Senator Ransom Stoddard returns home to Shinbone for the funeral of Tom Doniphon, he recounts to a local newspaper editor the story behind it all. He had come to town many years before, a lawyer by profession. The stage was robbed on its way in by the local ruffian, Liberty Valance, and Stoddard has nothing to his name left save a few law books. He gets a job in the kitchen at the Ericson's restaurant and there meets his future wife, Hallie. The territory is vying for Statehood and Stoddard is selected as a representative over Valance, who continues terrorizing the town. When he destroys the local newspaper office and attacks the editor, Stoddard calls him out, though the conclusion is not quite as straightforward as legend would have it.

#7. Nayak: The Real Hero (2001)

Storyline: Employed as a camera-man at a popular television station QTV; Shivaji Rao Gaekwad work his way up and is eventually promoted as a reporter. One of his job involve interviewing the Chief Minister Balraj Chauhan. During the course of the interview he brings to light the true facts of Chauhan to the general public. Agrivated at this Chauhan decides that he will challenge him to become the Chief Minister for a day which he accepts. During his tenure Shivaji attempts to make the wrong right by punishing dishonest people while at the same time ensure that the masses get what they aspire for. But when his life return to normal he will find that nothing is the same anymore as he and his loved ones are made targets by Chauhan's goons this pushes Shivaji to enter politics and eventually elect as the Chief Minister - a Chief Minister who wants to continue the remaining of his day's work.
