Storyline: Michael Tremayne (Michael Crawford) and David Tremayne (Oliver Reed) are always trying to find some way to succeed with cleverness rather than simple drudgery. Michael is constantly living in his brother's shadow as the one who gets caught. After Michael is forced to resign from the Army after an episode of unappreciated cleverness, the two decide their careers would go better if there was a large amount of publicity, so they decide to steal the Crown Jewels from the Tower of London. Storyline: Twenty-something Torontonians and friends Kevin, Sam and Rob play a game they call Foolproof: they plan foolproof heists, but without the intention of actually carrying them out. They have a few rules in the game, including the three having the necessary technical and physical abilities to carry out the tasks required for the heist, the plan cannot include loaded guns, and there is no violence meaning that no one gets hurt. They try to be as meticulous if not more so than the best high stakes thieves. The fun is in knowing they could do it if they truly wanted. Their collective lives change when someone breaks into Sam's apartment and steals their latest plan for a jewelry warehouse heist. After the warehouse is hit, the culprit identifies himself to them as Leo 'The Touch' Gillette, a known but never convicted high stakes thief who will stop at nothing to get what he wants. He tells them that the break-in at Sam's apartment was not by accident, and that part of his grand plan is to use them to map and carry out a $20 million theft of bonds for him. Since he has evidence of their involvement in the warehouse heist, they feel they have no other option but to help him. Their friendship is tested as they try to figure out how best to get themselves out of this predicament, sometimes each looking out solely for him or herself. #9. Contraband (2012)

Storyline: Chris Faraday once smuggled illegal items or contraband into the country on freighters. He left that life behind, got married, has a family and went legit. But when his brother-in-law got involved with Briggs, a drug dealer and when he blew a deal, Briggs demands restitution which he can't deliver. So Chris offers to find a way to pay Briggs but then he threatens Chris' family if he doesn't deliver. So he gets on a freighter destined for Panama and he sets out to bring back some counterfeit currency. Briggs "goes to see" Chris' family. When Chris learns of this he asks his friend Sebastian to take care of them which he does. He tells Chris that it would be better to bring drugs instead of the cash.

Storyline: In Seattle, aspiring pickpocket Ray is not very adept at his chosen profession. He thinks he's made it to the big time when he learns that a "cannon" - a pickpocket - is looking for an apprentice. The cannon is Harry, recently arrived in Seattle, with his older associate, Casey, a man with a penchant for cocaine. What Harry and Casey are really looking for is a "stall" - someone to act as the distractor. Harry thinks Sandy, Ray's girlfriend (and one of his former marks), is better suited to the job, but, Sandy will not do it unless Ray's included, as well. Ray appreciates what Harry can and does teach him and Sandy, but, Ray doesn't much like the romantic and sexual interest Harry' starts showing in Sandy. Harry's number one rule; Harry never holds, and after relocating their operation to stay one step ahead of the law, Ray's tired of being the 4th musketeer in the group, and itches to become a world-class cannon himself. Storyline: Financial wizard "Doc" Fletcher (Sir Michael Caine) is sent by crime boss Joe Fiore (Martin Balsam) to buy a bank in Switzerland in order to more easily launder their profits. When he arrives, Fletcher finds that the bank, acquired by his associate Prince di Siracusa (Louis Jourdan), consists of some shabby offices above a restaurant. To make up for this, the Prince suggests that Fletcher invests in a silver mine owned by Shireen and Agha Firdausi (Stéphane Audran and David Warner). This solves one problem, but the mine also attracts the attention of some of the most powerful people in the silver business.
