#1. Late Show (1999)

Storyline: Tele-C, a private German TV station, is in trouble. The audience rating is going down, and program manager Conny Schiffer is desperate. One evening - his best showmaster is interviewing a goat at the moment - he decides to make some changes. Listening to the radio, he hears Hannes Engel, a very creative and special DJ. Unfortunately, Hannes' wife Maria, an actress, has just been thrown off the cast of a major Tele-C TV pic and therefore Conny does not find him in the most receptive mood when trying to hire him for the exact same station. But with the glamorous future Conny promises, Hannes quickly decides to sign - and gets ground up properly in the mills of the German TV industry, just like his wife had forecast.—Julian Reischl <julianreischl@mac.com>

#3. Open Season (1995)
