Storyline: Sam Bisbee (W.C. Fields) is an eccentric optometrist who moonlights as an amateur inventor. Unfortunately his inventions are largely useless and have, along with his own various gaffes, made him the laughingstock of the town. Only his daughter Pauline (Joan Marsh) has any confidence in him. When Bisbee's one shot at fame ends up backfiring spectacularly, it takes the fortuitous intervention of a princess (Adrienne Ames) to set things right and show the world that Sam Bisbee means business.

#2. Lover Come Back (1961)

Storyline: Jerry Webster and Carol Templeton are both in the advertising business, but for different agencies. Annoyed by Jerry's methods of using alcohol and women to ensure contracts for his agency, Carol tries to get him thrown out of his profession. To avoid this Jerry bribes the girl who'd testify against him, by starring her in a TV commercial for a product named VIP that he's just made up. By accident these commercials are broadcasted and to keep his job, Jerry has to come up with VIP for which he enlists the help of Doctor Linus Tyler. Carol goes to see the Doctor to try and get the VIP account, but because she and Jerry have never met, she mistakes Jerry for the Doctor. Storyline: Rancher Gene Autry (Gene Autry) is the leader of the valley ranchers being ruined by the stripping of nearby mountain area of the precious timber. The ranchers face flood devastation unless reforestation is adopted by the Wentworth Lumber Company. Gene and Frog Millhouse (Smiley Burnettte) appeal directly to Asa Wentworth (George Clevand), the owner of the company but find him dominated by his impertinent granddaughter Billie Wentworth (Maris Wrixon) who is in love with the ruthless general manager of the company Larry Drew (Robert Kent.) Old Asa doesn't approve of Drew's logging tactics and secretly helps Gene and Frog concoct an elaborate plot to have Mount Warner declared a state park and wildlife refuge.
