Storyline: At first, Brian (Clu Gulager) is thrilled to start his new job as a prison guard. But then he encounters an alarming amount of corruption involving the warden and his fellow guards. Meanwhile, an unlikely new inmate arrives: quiet professor Jonathan Paige (Alan Alda), convicted on charges of murder in self-defense. Things look bad for Paige when he runs afoul of Hugo Slocum (Vic Morrow), top dog of the vicious prison gangs. Brian wants to interfere, but the prison staff remains indifferent.

Storyline: Bill Maher interviews some of religion's oddest adherents. Muslims, Jews and Christians of many kinds pass before his jaundiced eye. Maher goes to a Creationist Museum in Kentucky, which shows that dinosaurs and people lived at the same time 5000 years ago. He talks to truckers at a Truckers' Chapel. Storyline: Emily Lindstrom, 14, is an aspiring concert violinist; she's spending the summer practicing for a big audition while her girlfriends are at camp. #4. Harry in Your Pocket (1973)

Storyline: In Seattle, aspiring pickpocket Ray is not very adept at his chosen profession. He thinks he's made it to the big time when he learns that a "cannon" - a pickpocket - is looking for an apprentice. The cannon is Harry, recently arrived in Seattle, with his older associate, Casey, a man with a penchant for cocaine. What Harry and Casey are really looking for is a "stall" - someone to act as the distractor. Harry thinks Sandy, Ray's girlfriend (and one of his former marks), is better suited to the job, but, Sandy will not do it unless Ray's included, as well. Ray appreciates what Harry can and does teach him and Sandy, but, Ray doesn't much like the romantic and sexual interest Harry' starts showing in Sandy. Harry's number one rule; Harry never holds, and after relocating their operation to stay one step ahead of the law, Ray's tired of being the 4th musketeer in the group, and itches to become a world-class cannon himself. This doesn't fit within Harry's grand scheme, and allegiances between each of the individuals within the foursome are tested.—Huggo

Storyline: It's 1882 on the Barbary Coast. Charlie Malloy aka the Dirtwater Fox, makes his living cheating at cards. His latest venture however is stealing $40,000 from a bunch of outlaws. Bluebird, a saloon performer and prostitute, wants an easy life. When a Mormon, Josiah Widdicombe, comes to town, Bluebird has the idea that being the seventh wife of a Mormon would be a good life - she only has to work once every seven days. She steals Malloy's bag with the money, unaware of the amount inside. She only wants enough to buy a dress to masquerade as a duchess for Widdicombe. The ruse works. On Bluebird's way to Salt Lake City, Malloy catches up with her. Although Bluebird still has every intention of becoming a Mormon wife, the two decide to partner on the scheme of Mormon riches.
