The film's attempted biography matches many public myths surrounding Cole at the time, despite its lack of relationship with truth. #3. Return to Peyton Place (1961)

In the big city, Allison promotes her book, which becomes a runaway success, and she also begins a flirtatious relationship with Lewis, who is married.
