Storyline: During the 1870s, the ruthless Jacob Walz (Glenn Ford) becomes very wealthy after locating a legendary Arizona gold mine and securing sole ownership by murdering his partner. Storyline: Life is hard for Yorkshire miner's son Joe Carraclough (Jonathan Mason), who is beaten at school by a his teacher, his only consolation is his collie Lassie.
