Storyline: Weary of the road, rock star Arnie Haines (Alan Dale) returns to his small town to relax. But when he learns that his hometown has banned rock 'n' roll, Haines doesn't take it lying down. He has a whole new task ahead of him: to prove to the adults that the kids are all right and rock music is okay. With the support of popular disc jockey Alan Freed and some musical assistance from the likes of Bill Haley and the Comets and singer Little Richard, Haines is off to a terrific start.
