Storyline

The story follows Dusty, a yoga instructor from Colorado, who is on a desperate rescue mission to save her crazy brother Derek, a conspiracy theorist who is convinced Osama bin Laden is still alive, despite having been buried at sea. In Afghanistan, Dusty falls in with a team of NATO special forces on a secret assignment. Turns out Derek is not so crazy after all, and that Osama has returned from his watery grave and is making an army of zombie terrorists. When the group crashes headlong into the growing zombie apocalypse, Dusty and the troops must find and destroy the root of the zombie insurgency before it infests the rest of the world.—Anonymous

Short Review

For a film with such a ridiculous concept as Zombie Bin Laden and His Undead Insurgents, Osombie plays everything out with a pretty straight face. I give them credit for that even for a low budget zombie film. But it still doesn't find anyway to stand out from the veritable cornucopia of low-budget zombie flicks out there on DVD.As a band of soldiers wander the deserts of Afghanistan fighting off waves of flesh hungry ghouls for, some reason, they come across a young woman who is looking for her brother. Her brother, a conspiracy theorist, is looking for zombie Bin Laden and right there is where the story just stops. Cue an hour and a half of walking, shooting zombies and then more walking before they reach their objective.Of course there's character banter in-between all this walking, however, though interactions between the characters is the film's strongest suit. There's actual drama between them which makes the film a little more watchable than just having characters bicker for no reason what-so-ever aside from being caricatures taken from other zombie films. But aside from that there are just too many ridiculous moments to give this film high praise, other than Zombie Bin Laden wants to turn the western infidels into his army of the living dead.
