Storyline

After countless weeks of seclusion in his laboratory, the brilliant Dr. Vaseegaran (Rajnikanth) emerges with his latest invention: Chitti (also Rajnikanth), an android created in his own image. But in the place of applause, Vaseegaran is greeted by the scornful gaze of his neglected fiancée, Sana (Aishwarya Rai). With the faithful Chitti at his side, the desperate Vaseegaran struggles to regain Sana's favor. But soon the robot-servant starts developing feelings for his master's beautiful love.

I strongly recommend that you see Robot, to partake in writer-director Shankar's prodigious imagination and to revel in the sheer force of nature that is Rajinikanth.
