This is one of the best of the Jesse Stone series, based on Robert Parker's novels. Tom Selleck is excellent as Jesse, a former L.A. homicide detective who relocated to the fishing town of Paradise, Massachusetts to serve as police chief. There, he encounters a case of double homicide - as he solves the case, he also has to grapple with his own personal issues. Robert Harmon is the director of this satisfying crime drama. One of Tom Selleck's best performances!
