Short Review

John "Shep" Shepherd (Chuck Norris) is a decorated detective always at odds with his superiors over his tough-guy methods. When an aged diamond cutter is kidnapped by a ruthless criminal Shep learns from the cutter's niece Elizabeth that her uncle perfected his skills during years as a prisoner in Auschwitz and that he holds a long-hidden secret technique to cut the perfect diamond a secret which if made known can significantly increase the market value of the precious stones.
