Storyline

A young man named Rufus arrives at a mysterious village to open his own barbering business, when he encounters everything covered in what looks like hair! He then meets an innocent young fairy, who has lost her wand to some wicked bats and will not survive without it. He embarks on a quest to set up his business, making new friends along the way and discovering the answers to the secrets of the village.—Samuel Eastman

Short Review

The only words for this film are 'whismical' and 'fun'. It's a lot of fun to watch. A lot of it is intentional: the characters are likeable, the music is catchy, the humor usually hits its mark, the designs and backgrounds are creative and the worldbuilding of this fantasy setting is clever and interesting. Some of it, admittedly, is, however, unintentional, such as the occasionally off acting or the weird frames the (mostly good) animation throws sometimes. It's a mix of creativity and insanity that will delight both children and adults alike (provided the latter turn their logic sense off for the duration).
