Storyline

Gunfighter Rick Martin returns to his hometown of Casper, Wyoming to learn of the fate of his mother and to warn the town of an impending raid by the Tom Quentin gang. The townspeople however reject him, afraid that his gunslinging past will cause new trouble. Rick learns that his mother did not die of illness but was murdered, and he comes to suspect the town's leading citizen -- a man now engaged to marry the woman Rick loves.—Jim Beaver

The original Top Gun. Worth seeing if you love the old B-movies.A tall, dusty gunslinger returns to the small hometown that only wants to see him ride back out - or be buried alongside his Ma. In spite of the chilly reception, he warns the locals that their town is about to be raided, and he's willing to assist in defending the town since there are all of 3 decent people, who've tried to defend his sullied name, still living there. Yes, it may be a twist on High Noon, but so what. It's a western. Average script, cinematography, and everything else. Might have been better if the story had been told from the girlfriends perspective.Watch for a very young Rod Taylor and Denver Pyle also!
