Lally is a rich girl whose father writes books and plays Polo. After 23 years of marriage, he decides to divorce his wife, and marry Mrs. Chevers. This sours Lally on all men, while on vacation she meets Jack, who succeeds in stealing her heart. It's instructive to know this is an early talkie movie. That would account for the overly emotive acting and double-takes. Dialog is overwrought as well. Probably good for its time, it's hard for me not to think of it as one of those good-bad movies with the gee-whillikers romance talk and melodramatic plot twists.
