Storyline: When her niece is found dead along with three friends after viewing a supposedly cursed videotape, reporter Reiko Asakawa (Nanako Matsushima) sets out to investigate. Along with her ex-husband, Ryuji (Hiroyuki Sanada), Reiko finds the tape, watches it -- and promptly receives a phone call informing her that she'll die in a week. Determined to get to the bottom of the curse, Reiko and Ryuji discover the video's origin and attempt to solve an old murder that could break the spell.

Storyline: In Czech director Jan Svankmajer's surreal adaptation of Lewis Carroll's classic children's book, Alice (Kristyna Kohoutova) follows her stuffed rabbit through a portal inside her dresser to be whisked away to Wonderland. While the White Rabbit, Mad Hatter and Cheshire Cat are still present, the familiar magical world and bizarre characters have undergone an unsettling transformation in the director's vision through the stop-motion animation of dead animals, puppets and other assorted objects.

Storyline: Two women in Iran are given temporary leave from prison and attempt to flee to one of the women's hometown, but are caught by police. Storyline: Remy Germain (Pierre Fresnay) is a doctor in a French town who becomes the focus of a vicious smear campaign, as letters accusing him of having an affair and performing unlawful abortions are mailed to village leaders. The mysterious writer, who signs each letter as "Le Corbeau" (The Raven) soon targets the whole town, exposing everyone's dark secrets. This allegorical film was highly controversial at the time of its release, and was banned in France after the Liberation.

Storyline: In Graves End, the four year-old son of the wealthy financier Tag Graves is kidnapped and the criminals demand a ransom of six million dollars. FBI agent Paul Rickman is assigned to the case that ends with the cruel death of the child and the disappearance of the requested amount. The kidnapper Luke Devilyn is arrested but is released after his trial due to fails in the evidences. He returns to Graves End, a place where the 666 dwellers welcome ex-cons rejected by other towns. When Luke Devilyn is found dead in the woods nearby the town, agent Rickman notes that the criminals that move to Graves End simply vanish, and he returns to the town for further investigation. He meets Sheriff Hooper and recognizes him from a case of bad temper and attitude with great repercussion in the past.
