#1. Alice (1989)

Storyline: In Czech director Jan Svankmajer's surreal adaptation of Lewis Carroll's classic children's book, Alice (Kristyna Kohoutova) follows her stuffed rabbit through a portal inside her dresser to be whisked away to Wonderland. While the White Rabbit, Mad Hatter and Cheshire Cat are still present, the familiar magical world and bizarre characters have undergone an unsettling transformation in the director's vision through the stop-motion animation of dead animals, puppets and other assorted objects.

#2. Alice in Wonderland (1951)

Storyline: Alice is a daydreaming young girl. She finds learning poems and listening to literature boring. She prefers stories with pictures and to live inside her imagination. One day, while enduring just such a poetry reading, she spots a large white rabbit...dressed in a jacket and carrying a large watch. He scurries off, saying he's late, for a very important date. She follows him through the forest. He then disappears down a rabbit hole. Alice follows, leading her to all manner of discoveries, characters and adventures.

#3. Mickey's Adventures in Wonderland (2009)

Storyline: It's Daisy Duck's birthday, and, in preparation, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck have arranged a surprise party and bought a cuckoo clock as a present. However, the bird inside the clock escapes, leading Donald and Mickey into a strange fantasy world, modeled after Lewis Carroll's Wonderland. Some friends tag along for the journey, and some even appear as characters from the original tale. Goofy becomes the Goofy Hatter and Clarabelle Cow becomes Queen Clarabelle.

#4. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1972)

Storyline: Alice (Fiona Fullerton) falls down a rabbit hole and into a magical dream world populated by surreal characters and bewildering adventures. It's a journey of self-discovery for Alice as she searches for a way out of Wonderland and encounters many bizarre creatures such as the White Rabbit (Michael Crawford), the March Hare (Peter Sellers), the Queen of Hearts (Dame Flora Robson), and the Dormouse (Dudley Moore). Musical highlights include the inspiring song "The Me I Never Knew".
