Storyline: Dubious rock 'n' roll promoter Roy Seth (Gerry Quigley), concerned that one of his bands is botching their recent tour, sends his assistant, Ramona (Valerie Buhagiar), to find them. Ramona has lied about being able to drive, so she must find a taxi driver (Larry Hudson) willing to drive all over Canada in search of the band. Albert Gardner (Alan Arkin), a grumpy old man who a long time ago used to play the saxophone and is constantly flirting with the grandmother of his student. The problem is, they don't even know how to handle a gun.
