#1. Munich (2005)

Storyline: After Black September's assassination of Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics in 1972, Prime Minister Golda Meir okays a covert operation to hunt down and kill all involved. A team of five gathers in Switzerland led by Avner, a low-level Mossad techie whose father was a war hero and whose wife is pregnant. It's an expendable team, but relying on paid informants, they track and kill several in Europe and Lebanon. They must constantly look over their shoulders for the CIA, KGB, PLO, and their own sources. As the body count mounts -- with retribution following retribution -- so do questions, doubts, and sleepless nights. Loyalties blur. What does it mean to be a Jew?

#4. Exodus (1960)

Storyline: The theme is the founding of the state of Israel. The action begins on a ship filled with Jewish immigrants bound for Israel who are being off loaded on Cyprus. An Intelligence officer succeeds in getting them back on board their ship only to have the harbor blocked by the British with whom they must negotiate. #6. The Fourth Angel (2001)

Storyline: Putting work first, editor Jack Elgin (Jeremy Irons) reroutes his family's vacation to cover a story in India. However, his selfish decision comes back to haunt him when terrorists hijack their flight. Though their demands are met, the terrorists fire on the passengers, killing Elgin's wife and daughter. Elgin manages to survive and save his son, but after the attack he dedicates his life to justice and revenge. Meanwhile, an FBI agent (Forest Whitaker) also looks to bring down the terrorists.
