Storyline: Shortly after the end of World War II, British Colonel Michael S. "Hooky" Nicobar (Walter Pidgeon) is assigned to a unit in the British Zone of Vienna. His duty is to aid the Soviet authorities to repatriate citizens of the Soviet Union, many of whom prefer not to return to their home country. Storyline: Ballet 422 is a record of the creative process of a young choreographer Justin Peck, just 26 years old, hired to create a new ballet for the winter season of the New York City Ballet in 2013. The New York City Ballet is considered one of the best companies in the world. Since 1990 he is led by Peter Martins, his Ballet Master in Chief. The documentary describes the intense backstage work that takes place during the process of creating and learning this new ballet: "Paz de la Jolla". It shows Peck working with his fellow dancers (Justin Peck is also a soloist at NYCB!), with musicians, lighting technicians, and costume designers in the composition of a new work, his third creation for the NYCB. #23. Gold Diggers in Paris (1938)

Storyline: When the representative of the Paris International Dance Exposition arrives in New York to invite the Academy Ballet of America to compete for monetary prizes, the taxi driver mistakenly brings him to the Club Ballé, a nightclub on the brink of declaring bankruptcy. The owners, Terry Moore and Duke Dennis, jump at the chance to go, despite being aware of the mistake. They hire ballet teacher, Luis Leoni, and his only pupil, Kay Morrow, to join the group, hoping to teach their two dozen show girls ballet en route to Paris by ship. Also going along and rooming with Kay is Mona, Terry's ex-wife, who wants to keep an eye on her alimony checks. Naturally, Kay and Terry fall in love. After the ship is underway, Padrinsky, the head of the real ballet academy, reads about the departure and also heads to Paris, bringing with him his ballet loving gangster patron, Mike Coogan, with orders to eliminate the pair of imposters. Things look bleak for Terry as Kay becomes angry and severs her relationship with Terry when she learns that Mona was once married to him and he never told her that. Storyline: This movie catapulted Yvonne De Carlo into stardom. During the Austrian-Prussian War, Anna Maria (De Carlo) is a famous ballerina who has no other choice but to leave Europe after she is accused of being a spy. Jim Steed, (Rod Cameron), an American war correspondent, helps her escape to the United States, accompanied by her composer, Professor Max Blumenthal (J. Edward Bromberg). They eventually reach a small town in Arizona, where they meet an old entertainer, Madam Europe (Marjorie Rambeau), who joins them in a local performance of "Salome," starring Anna Maria. She makes such an impact on the town that they re-name it "Salome, Where She Danced." Anna also tames and falls in love with the local bandit, Cleve Blunt (David Bruce), who resembles her deceased lover, a Habsburg prince named Kurt. The group (Anna, Jim, Max, Madam Europe, and Cleve) moves on to San Francisco, where Anna attracts the attention of a wealthy Russian colonel (Walter Slezak) who decides to build her a new opera house. However, a Prussian nobleman (Albert Dekker) on the lookout for Anna, arrives in San Francisco with the intention of taking Anna back with him to Europe.—Anonymous
