Short Review

Just as terrible as I had imagined. It isn't the worst film I have seen, though that's just through process of elimination more than anything. 'Adventures of Aladdin' is very bad, with its awful special effects and pretty poor cast. There are no notable performances at all, though I actually didn't hate Adam Hollick as Aladdin or Naya Abou Mousa as Naveena - they are the marginally better actors in this. Daniel O'Reilly (Maghreb) has the look of a good villain, though what he provides isn't quite adequate. As usual with these type of productions, it's more so the script and effects which let it down. The latter isn't as dreadful as I would have predicted, but you can tell they had a low budget given the sporadic nature of them; the cave scene is rather pathetic. I do like what they did with Aladdin's set of friends though, which was at least a minor change-up.You know what you're getting with this, but I've seen worse films from The Asylum... **500 MPH Storm**.
