Short Review

I only saw this for Cassidy Freeman. But to be honest I had no idea what to expect. The synopsis for this was about a troubled woman taking on a roommate. With a description like that, a person can think of anything. But, this was a little weird.Yes, its about a troubled woman, a writer by profession, who moves into a cabin that she used to spend time with her grandmother when she was a girl. This woman is seeing a therapist and is taking some time to write but she is troubled and as she meets a mysterious woman that begins to befriend her, it becomes just one of many strange things. Another being a mysterious older man played by former pro-wrestler Roderick Toombs aka Rowdy Roddy Piper. All this leading to a conclusion that supposed to be Shyamalan in its execution. All things considered, it was great seeing Cassidy Freeman, Roddy Piper, as well as the other performers. But the storytelling felt slow and was too bizarre for me to enjoy.
