The Christmas Bunny is the story of a Michigan family, facing tough economic times, who take in a withdrawn foster child, Julia (Sophie Bolen). Convinced she's unlovable, Julia dreams of becoming "real," like the Velveteen Rabbit in her treasured storybook video. When a real-life rabbit is injured by her foster brother in an accident, Julia meets the Bunny Lady, a local recluse who cares for people's cast-away pets, and both their lives are changed by the encounter.—AJ

I like this movie, but its not my favorite. It almost made me cry when Julia ran away and everyone was looking for her. But a lot of the information about rabbits is completely wrong, hay doesn't give rabbits the full nutrients they need, if you pick a rabbit by their neck, it hurts them, bad, and they don't eat their poop everywhere, they do it privately, the poop doesn't even look like bunny poop. And if you see the poster it looks like this movie was going to be a CGI movie (bad word play) with a different rabbit. But, It is not, The only thing christmas about this movie was Julia found the rabbit with an injured leg on christmas eve. The movie can be very heartwarming, and the acting isn't the worst. This movie is okay.
