It is 2016, where has this movie been for ten years? Yancy Butler is the lead, up against a marvelous serpent, and a bunch of cuties in uniform, what's not to like? The scientist speaks too fast? Honey, that's the Asperger's syndrome. lot's of scientifsts do that AND twitch...maybe he should have camped it up a bit. The script kills me. It's actually quite well written, but, I have to come back to Yancy Butler. Why does no one lover her like I do? She comes out of this tunnel, and...adjusts the stack, shall we say, and I screamed with laughter. Hello, that's life with a set....now how do I know this? The reason this movie is an unknown, and what in the theatre is called...a flop, is this one actor.l Not the scientist dude, but the one who gets all the closeups...in the ugly check shirt. Oh, one more note about scientists. "Rudy" is something that any scientist would immediately upgrade to Rudolf. They hate names ending in "y" with an ee sound. Too playful for a scientist. I like both the female leads, and the big Army dude can act AND look good. What if we gave him the close ups, and the male lead, and made the Brendan Fraser look alike in the busy little check shirt the Army Captain? Eh, too late now. I like both the female long hair leads, they carry the movie. I am actually giving this movie four stars. It's very watchable, it is action packed, as they say, and Butler is humor on a stick.
