Storyline

A series of gruesome and inexplicable murders plagues a small town in Spain. Against this backdrop of murder and paranoia, traveling vendor Manuel Romasanta (Julian Sands) seeks the affections of Barbara (Elsa Pataky), a woman who has lost several family members to the unknown serial killer. Barbara, however, quickly begins to suspect that all is not right with Romasanta, and he turns to an unbelievable story to explain his murderous actions--he claims to be a werewolf.
