Harriet (Penelope Ann Miller) recently lost her husband in World War II, and her family is now emotionally unstable. Her young daughter, Carrie (Ashley Rose), takes the death of her father especially hard and begins to withdraw from her mother and local boy Zeke (Nicholas Braun). When the sophisticated Bernard (David Alan Basche) begins a romance with Harriet, Carrie's behavior becomes even more erratic, and she inadvertently causes a neighborhood tragedy that changes her life forever.

Horrible movie, bratty kids cause all sorts of problem and are never punished. I hate these types of feel good movies that show a total lack of discipline by the parents.
