This is a cute little movie with a lot of good morals to present. Integrity should be not just something in some of your actions, but should define your character, and you need not be a victim just because life dealt you a faulty hand. The little romances in the movie were cute and despite the cheesy parts and some parts of the script making no sense (like the make a wish scene) a lot of the film works very well and it's entertaining to watch. I know that as a kid I always wanted to be adopted by a father figure, and so this was a way to see my fantasy come to life in a way. The set pieces and shooting location were really well-done and beautiful and I liked the camp setting/forest feel of the movie. May not be the best film, but it's one that will be staying in my movie collection.
