Short Review

Vincent and Me was the film made me discover the artist Vincent Van Gogh. Although far from perfect, this film is perfect and entertaining for all ages. This is a fun and entertaining movie that manages to overcome its flaws by providing the viewer with an original and highly entertaining plotline. The film manages to be fun, but it is inaccurate. This will certainly provide viewers with something interesting to watch, but at the same it's a movie that can only introduce you Van Gogh's art. However it doesn't really reveal any in depth facts about the famed painter. Aside from a few facts, this film is mostly fictional and relies more on a made up script to entertain its viewers. In no way is this film a biopic. Despite this, it's a fun and entertaining movie to watch and it is worth seeing if you're looking for an entertaining Family film to watch with your kids. The film like I said is flawed, but manages to have an interesting idea to keep you involved from start to finish. I enjoyed the film when I was younger, and I think it's a worthy movie to watch despite its inaccuracies. I found this film to be quite underrated and it's one that deserves to be rediscovered by a new audience because it's a far better film than most Family friendly movie of today. Give the film a shot, and to those that already love Vincent Van Gogh, they may find this entertaining as well. Just don't go into this one expecting an accurate, well thought portrait of Van Gogh. Expect a good little film that will certainly entertain you if you're in the right state of mind.
