Storyline

Daffy Duck and Speedy Gonzales find a treasure map that leads them to a wishing well, which for a penny will grant any wish (through old cartoon footage). Daffy sets up a resort around the well and various Looney Tunes characters have their dreams come true. Meanwhile, Yosemite Sam and the Tasmanian Devil hunt for the varmints who stole their treasure map!—Jon Cooke

Short Review

While a decent idea for a compilation film and still having shorts that are just as funny as a series of disconnected "anthology" entries as they were as stand-alone cartoons, Daffy Duck's Fantastic Island suffers from rushed non-archival animation and jokes that sometimes don't make sense. I do give this movie credit for introducing me to the pre-Space Jam Looney Tunes movies, which were nothing more than glorified clip shows making it easy to see why nobody talks about them.
