Storyline

A group of Americans are interested in raising the ill-fated ocean liner Titanic from its watery grave. One of them finds out the Russians also have plans to do so. Why all the interest? The movie is a misconceived, anticlimactic, wooden, phlegmatically paced and waterlogged travelogue that devotes so much time to its nautical machinery that there's none left over for even an approximation of interaction among the actors.
