Vampire hunter and expert swordsman Kronos finds himself in a small village where several of the local young women have been found in an advanced state of age, their youth drained from them by a vampire's kiss. Kronos' search leads him to the Durward estate where he is met by the effete children of the apparently aged and sick Lady Durward.—Doug Sederberg
pipe smoking, man wears eyeglasses, looking at oneself in a mirror, murderess, dark comedy, cigar smoking, survival, soldier, swordsman, vampire hunter, character's point of view camera shot, horse riding, forest, serial murder, apology, psychotronic film, exploitation, ex soldier, hired killer, villainess
Today, irony has started to look more and more like the death knell for serious horror films, and so the relative straightforwardness of a Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter is a welcome throwback.
