Storyline

An accident in the butcher's shop leads Norman and Mr Grimsdale to the hospital where, after causing the normal amount of chaos, Norman finds Lindy, a little girl who hasn't spoken or smiled since her parents were killed in an aeroplane accident. Norman decides to help.—Steve Crook

Short Review

Norman Wisdom is an acquired taste. No gag is ever underworked, no sentiment escapes without being squeezed of every last drop. In this lamentable outing his idiot butcher's apprentice somehow brings a local hospital to its knees, and gets to dress up in drag etc. Wisdom's peculiar popularity in the late-50s and early-60s is one of the mysteries of light entertainment.
