Storyline

A hapless teacher named Will Lamb is hired by a grim school in Scotland. The school soon starts to be haunted by a legendary ghost, whose spectral bagpipes signal the death of one of the staff. Lamb has to unravel the mystery before he becomes the next victim.—D.Giddings

Short Review

Will Hay is an incompetent schoolmaster who gets a job teaching at a boys school which is being evacuated to a castle on the Isle of Skye. There is some skulduggery going on at the school, and despite his general hopelessness as a schoolmaster, Will Hay manages to outwit the villains with the help of fellow teacher Claude Humberto and precocious schoolboy Charles Hawtrey. Absolutely hilarious.
