George Melville (Joel McCrea), a criminologist, is hired onto the staff of a newspaper to help apprehend a master burglar whose targets run toward art treasures and priceless gems, on the basis that the thief and the criminologist have similar tastes. He is aided and mocked by Claire Peyton (Jean Arthur), an actress , who is appearing in a play financed by the burglar with impeccable taste.—Les Adams

This is 72 minutes of incoherent nonsense. Dissappointing waste of Arthur and McCrea. First clue is when the big joke on McCrea is that Arthur's small child isn't dead in the coffin !? Worst 'screwball' comedy ever.
